    Hi kcdesi,

    I just did a quick search with “ie6 warning” and got this result:

    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-remove-or-inactive-message-ie6-is-out-of-date/

    I think your solution is just there!

    Cheers

    No, this is not solved.

    1. There is no such default.php in my layouts/blocks – may be a special for this particular template.
    2. I searched every single php/text file in my root dir – I have about 4-5 templates – none of them have IE6 warning in any shape or form.
    3. If you see the text in the image I attache, it is very rude and not polite at all.
    4. I’m getting this on a firefox latest browser and also on IE8.

    Any ideas/suggestions will be highly highly appreciated.

    Hi!

    You actually have to copy it. Copy

    /plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/page/default.php

    and place it here:

    /templates/ja_teline_iv/page/default.php

    You have to create the folder “page” inside your templates folder.

    Then edit the default.php and get rid of this code block at the bottom of the file:

    <?php if ($this->isIE6()) : ?>
    <?php $this->showBlock('ie6/ie6warning') ?>
    <?php endif; ?>

    Cheers

    Frank
