Try to see this with IE7 or IE8 and you see what i mean.
IE8 in compability mode gives no error and no strange layout</blockquote>
Unless a person is viewing it on IE7 and IE8, they cannot see what you are trying to show. You need to show capture image from browser compatibility sites to demonstrate.
When I use my Safari, one does not show what I believe is a slideshow. the other does not show most of the front page, at all — as it turned out because you provided an incorrect link, or yet to be developed subsection?.
That aside, I heard of bad reviews for IE8, but they were reported in Mac sites:)
On the whole though, because Internet Explorer and many products of Microsoft does not follow accepted standards (because MS wants to be the accepted standard) all IE versions have become the bane of many webdesigners. Special scripts must be prepared for each version, including IE8.
It worked for the most part for Microsoft, but the internet is dynamic. What helped Microsoft hold its monopoly for so long has now started to be the albatross of the company.
