    Hi guys,

First of all, thanks to anyone who will have a shot a this one. Please look at the image attached to this message for a visual explanation.

Problem: When viewing with IE7, a rectangle seems to apear ONLY when i’m trying to view this specific article. According to you, what could be the problem?

    Website: http://hockey.tremblaylecuyer.com
    Joomla Version: 1.5.14
Template modifications: I played with the main logo in order to make the space wider.

    Compatibility Plugin
I installed the IE8 compatibility plugin for my site. The problem I have with this solution is that I currently have display issues in both IE7 and IE8. So turning compatibility on does not really help, because it solves some problems while creating some others.

    Thanks! you ROCK! 😎

Well, after some more research on my problem, I found out the cause, but I’m still looking for a definitive solution.

My image has 520 px. It displays fine in IE8 but in IE7, the width of this image is causing the problem. When I reduce the width of the image to 505 px, it displays fine in IE7.

But again, this is not really a solution of the problem, since it is not logical that images must be limited in size ir order to display fine in IE7.

I hope that the little hint I’m adding to my problem will help someone provide a better solution!

    Thanks again! 🙂
