April 16, 2009 at 3:56 pm #140307Hello,
I’ve upgraded to Internet Explorer 8 and now the mesolite template has some positioning problems.
For example the ‘basket’ module is positioned left outside the templates lay-out. (see image)
A second error is that my sites logo at the bottom left corner of the template isn’t displayed correctly.IE8 comes with compatibility display, if I push that button the layout is correct. I assume that most non-pc minded consumers will use this button so it would be great to see the mesolite template being updated to be fully compatible with IE8

April 17, 2009 at 4:07 pm #301687I had a look to the latest update of the template and according to the version number i’m allready running on v1.2 (date 25 july 2008). The version you can download is also v1.2, but I gave it a try anyway and in the css folder there is a file called ‘ie8.css’ that i didn’t have on my live site.
I uploaded this ie8.css file, without any luck.
Can anyone give me a solution?

April 17, 2009 at 4:46 pm #301693I’ve not tested but make sure you have the following in your templates index.php
<!-->
<link href="<?php echo $tmpTools->templateurl(); ?>/css/ie8.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
<!-->If that doesn’t work and JA do not help then you will need to use a diff viewer to find out the differences between the two template versions.
