HI. Our site has displayed well for months with IE7.

The new Internet Explorer 8 has the content off to the left side and not centered with rest of site??

In IE8 there is a switch by address bar in browser that says ‘compatability’ ‘when on our site’. If I click that it runs Ok. I guess wee still need a fix though.

The same issue on our site, is on your demo template at http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=ja_fagus

    Thanks
    Kevin

    Hi

As you rightly stated IE8 is only a beta version, there could be several changes before the full version is release. It is therefore not a good idea to try and design a web site or a template to render properly in IE8 at the moment.

I will be developing a browser identification script to go with my website so that it uses different functions in loading the template to ensure that it displays the same in different versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer and a number of other browsers.

We expect to release this script in early 2009.

If you would like a copy of this script when it is finished, pleasesend me an email to adam.wydeman@anderson-gray.com

All the very best to all of you and a very merry Christmas 2008!

Oh you may want to move this post as I am currently using JA_SanidineII_Light

Now IE8 is out, we still have the issue of site not showing some pages correct unless using compatibilty mode in IE8.

    Thanks
