Has anyone else experienced this? With Halite (or Purity II), during the first visit to a site with this theme, even the demo, IE8 displays one of the mobile versions. I can choose desktop version and it is fine after that, but if I dump IE8’s temp files and cookies, it does it again.

I’m on IE8 version 8.0.7600.16385

yeah, that would be nice… i did find this http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/style-a-design/browsers-a-web-standards/7623 which seems to work. hope this helps anyone else with a similar problem
