If you open the demo site with IE8, you will notice that the buttons are ignoring the inner padding of the css selector input {}.
Basically this makes the buttons in IE8 look much smaller. The problem does not exist in IE7.

Pls open the file templates/ja_rasite/css/ie.css try to find, remove the following code:

.button {
margin: 0 10px;
padding: 1px 0;
}
