    Hello,

    in IE8, with JA Tabs and JA Bulletin, the text of the first link is displayed correctly.
    But the text of the other links is smaller …

    We don’t find what is happening…

    See screenshot for more understanding.

    Thank in advance for your help

    Hello,

    thank for your answer.

    And it is very strange, your screenshot is ok.
    But on my computer (@work and @home), it’s like my screenshot (in the first post)
    So what version of IE do you use ?
    For me it is IE 8.0.7601

    that video was done with IE8 & 9 via IE9 dev mode as well as FF 8.
    did you clear your cache and cookies from the browsers?

    Does the problem go if you display the created date? It appears that there is a <span class=”post-date”. tag that does not have a closing tag.

    On the demo the closing tag is there as expected but not sure whether we would see the same problem if we removed the date.

    Hello,

    yes it is strange.
    I made a search. The <span class=”post-date”> appears once, in the /templates/ja_teline/html/mod_jabulletin/default.php
    And there is a closing tag… I don’t understand.

    <div <?php echo $padding;?> class="box-right">
    <a href="<?php echo $item->link; ?>" class="mostread"><?php echo $item->text; ?></a>

    <br /><span class="post-date">
    <?php if (isset($item->date)) :

    ?>
    <span class="createdate"><?php echo JText::_('Publish').': '; echo JHTML::_('date', $item->date, JText::_('DATE_FORMAT_LC4')); ?></span>
    <?php endif;?>

    </span>
    </div>

    So I made the test, with the date, and it is working (see screenshot).
    But we don’t want the date… so what can we do to fix this ?

    Thank in advance.

    Hello,the info is the ticket #JRC-775-43675
    But I ‘ll sent you a PM with my access.
    And read my thread :
    <blockquote>in IE8, with JA Tabs and JA Bulletin, the text of the first link is displayed correctly.

    Thank in advance.

    And apparently this problem appears when the date is off.
    Phill Luckhurst found a interesting lead with the date…

    Update : after some tests, this problem appears also in the demo (Joomla 1.7) !
