Has anyone else who has Joomla 1.7 and IE9 tried to go to their Global Config and click the server info button or the sytem or the information only to find they cant click on anything,
Have you been to user manager and tried to edit a customer details only to see that you cant press on the save button because it wont click.
Same goes on My Profile…..no save or save and close.

Internet Explorer 9 SUCKS!

oh and this has the same effect with or with the compatability button pressed

hi,
do you have any js error noticed in these page ?
save button using js for processing. or in case page not really loaded everything. it should make trouble.

yup it look like js error with validation.
lets me check it in my at my side.
ps:/ ie9 with compat mode enabled will become ie8 not 9 any more

I still have no idea is this valid js or not. But in IE ( 9 ) it’s not valid

el.type = "email"
You can fix this by remove this line 🙂

It has fixed the issue the global config where now we can press ” server sytem and permission”

BUT still can not save user profiles or press button in there USER MANAGER PAGE!
