Just wondering how I could go about putting an image behind text/word.

For example, I have a Tags module and in mixmaz my tags are currently bulleted and just plain text…. I would like to get rid of the bullet for one, then add a small button style image that will be just slightly larger than the tag word, behind each word.

I would also like to apply the same type of small button style image behind the Category text words.

My site is not live yet, I am working on localhost.
I am using the latest J 2.5x
