Im wanting to use image captcha on my onepage tmepage for the contact us. wasnt a simple plugin. I contacted keycaptcha,com and they couldn’t help as they said they had a look at backend and because its joomlaart cms inside joomla, they didn’t know where to start.

can you provide information for the proper and succcesful integration of this plugin

Thanks for your quick response

Plugin has to be done through https://www.keycaptcha.com/login/ signing up for free account, if you can do it, it’s an excellent feature.

I have it downloaded etc on my site, but its better to sign up for it because there are 3 steps involved and that information is only given during that time

I’ve since had a furhter reply from keycaptcha and they have provided this information if it helps

they ahve added that the normal joomla process that they use for the plugin doesn’t work with joomlaart because of its customisation, but they think the above link code might help

Dear Mike,

Hope you are fine and that this information might be helpful for you.

Please access google Recaptcha: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html and create site and secret keys for all your domains.

After you create it please login to your Joomla Admin Portal…Go to your plugins and search for System-Recaptcha then enable it. You will be asked to insert you google site and secret key…make sure to choose version 2 (Version 2 is the Image Recaptcha) …You can check it on my website https://thamerinternationalschool.com/index.php/contact-us

Note: Make sure you enable Google Recaptcha from Joomla System Configuration.

Thanks for your feedback, using the captcha is not the issue though. There are unique circumstances here. A moderator is already on this and looking at it for me.

fyi, the reason we were looking at the keycaptcha com is that is does not have any restrictions on it from China. Google is blocked period so nothing that relates to it is usable in China.

The beginning process of this inquiry was to get support using the keycaptcha which normally slots straight in with joomla, but the joomlaart customizations prevent the easy addition of this plugin.

I install this plugin and add Private key, then create a test menu item for User Registration Form but it works properly: http://nimb.ws/KYu4v3

So kindly check with your Private Key and test again.

Hi

I will check that on the registration form so thanks for that, but that’s not where I want it. On the onepage template at the bottom where it has the contact us information for emails that’s where I wanted it. When i talked to keycaptcha developers that’s when they said its the customised template that is the issue, specifically the contact us section. Have you got anyway we can put it into that section?

Hi Mike,

It’s JA Quick Contact module, unfortunately, this module is not supported this keycaptcha yet. It’s a Joomla module so you can contact that developer if he can support to integrate with a contact module like that or not.
