    Hello,

    Just wanted to ask if it’s possible to get a black background with white text for image caption.

    Hi Anders,

    Open custom.css file(create a new one if it does not exist at ja/template/ja_teline_v/css/custom.css) then add

    span.wf_caption {
    color: #ffffff
    background: #2b2b2b
    text-align: center;
    font-weight: bold;
    opacity: 0.7;
    /* padding: 10px; */
    }

    The result look like so

    NOTE: Just enable padding if you want the blackground around img

    Hi there,

    There’re two way to add a caption for Joomla! article

    1. Via article option, like this

    by default, we disable the caption so If you want to show the caption for Full image article, please check this post http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/full-article-image-is-not-showin/#post-563197

    2. Add caption inside Joomla! article using JCE Editor
    If you are using JCE and you want to add the captions for imgs, you need to install the plugin named caption here https://www.joomlacontenteditor.net/downloads/plugins/captions

    Thanks
