July 22, 2011 at 7:34 am #402471Ok, now was trying with IE9 & FF5 – results are the same.
By the way, I can update all other extensions/plugins via the JA Manager execpt the template…Can you try by yourself? Site is backuped already.
Or should I update via Joomla extensions manager?
Greetings from a rainy Munich.

July 22, 2011 at 8:08 am #402480Hmm, it is causing the error due to file permissions on your system. You will need to make the templates folder writable by the script for the upgrader to work. If you cannot do this then you will have to manually re-install just the template. by removing the old one then installing the new copy taking a bakup of the folder fits. You would then have to re-apply your custom changes.

July 22, 2011 at 8:21 am #402486hi phill,
thanks – again a permission issue…;)OK – I could now update the template so jat3 and template are on the latest versions.
Featured articles are still expanding in the middle (main) column – any ideas?

July 22, 2011 at 8:31 am #402489I’ll look at that later. Is the IE9 compatability issue sorted now?

July 23, 2011 at 10:53 am #402667I have raised the question to the devs as I cannot seem to work this one out. Everything works as expected on my test site as well as the demo. Hopefully I will get a response soon. I have limited access to do any testing until Monday as I am in Ireland until Monday evening so forgive me if I do not get back to you quickly.

July 28, 2011 at 5:09 pm #403465phill,
I am not sure how but I did it!
Created a new menu called “Hauptartikel” (main articles”), then I created a sub menue called “Qualität” and linked that menue with the specific “featured article”. Now – somehow on the frontend after clicking the preview article this article opens on a single page….
hm, .. a supposed workaround was the solution (is it a bug or a feature?! 😉 ).
Well anyway -thanks againg for your help!!
