Hi,
After moving my site down to the root I have had some problems with the JA Newsflash module.
The images in the module only shows when the page loads for the first time and then only after I refresh the page. When the JA Newsflash slideshow is running only the image alt text is showing. When you look at the image properties it shows the correct url when it first loads or after refresh (this is when you can see the image) e.g. http://www.olango.net/images/stories/shoppingcarts.png.
After the slideshow is running the image url changes to http://images/stories/shoppingcarts.png and the image doesn’t show until you refresh the page and the image url changes back to http://www.olango.net/images/stories/shoppingcarts.png.
The site url is http://www.olango.net
I am running Joomla 1.5.3
It was working before I moved it to the root and I haven’t added any 3rd part modules since then, although I had some already installed since before, artform and some Yootheme modules but they are not published at the moment.I have entered the true url to the image in the article that is part of the slideshow.
any ideas?
Thanks

Usually should be
Path to Media Folder : images
Path to Images: images/storiesJohn.

Looks like you’ve got an errant “.com” in your image linking. 😮Go back into the slideshow…and make sure your images are pulled into the content via the correct address. 😉

October 20, 2008 at 9:07 am #276232Hi Johan, thanks for this. It made me think along the right lines. The paths were correct though and in the end I fixed this by simpy re-installling the JA-Newsflash module,
Many thanks,
