Does anyone know how to edit an image with this template? I’ve tried to change v space and h space on the image in the demo article ‘Cras ante eros’ with text editor turned on and turned off but neither works. Is there a CSS override somewhere?

Another separate Q – how do you get the Ja-slideshow to only run once?

I’ll be glad to help on the image editing…but I’m not seeing a “Cras ante eros” article. A coule of “cras tincidunt” but no “Cras ante..” Wouldn’t my Latin teacher be pleased!

Are you talking about the “Welcome to JA Ruby” main article pic?

Most of the images within the templates cannot be simply found using right-click functions.
I use an extension with Firefox that picks up on images that are even meant to be in the background, allowing me to make more customised edits. All the images in the site are available in your images folder, or somewhere else within the template installation, so they can be edited (unless it’s CSS created).

And I don’t think there is an option for that I’m afraid. You could always load up the rest of the images folder with a bunch of blank images, they’ll be small in file size so no one would really notice and the colour would be the same so the transitions would not exactly appear. Unless your using JA Slideshow 2 with the little thumbnails turned on!

    Thanks guys for responding.

@jbrett: “Cras ante eros” is article #13 in the Ruby quickstart sql demo content. I was just taking that as an example of an image I was trying to change the styling for. As things are set up in the demo version I don’t think that simply replacing that image using a content editor works, which struck me as a bit strange.

Digging deeper, I found I could use inline styling to get what I wanted (more hspace) and insert that into the no-wysiwig format.

Basically, the JA demo modules use a mixture of div settings and calls to css code (e.g. image class=”nostyle”) which makes editing articles and the images within the demo a bit tricky.

@ hanifahmed: part 1 – the images are indeed css related in the JA demo; part 2 – I’m sure there is a way to get a slide function to ‘run once’ but my php skills are non-existent and I was hoping someone could advise a line or two of php coding to get that effect with the Ja slideshow (by someone I mean a JA developer of course :))
