How can I create a menu item with an image?

I want to create a menu equal to the demo site!

do you mean the top horizontal menu or the side menu? you just need to look at the css and find which graphic makes up that menu, then modify that graphic…. let me know if that clarifies it for you… to make this easier .. use firefox’s developer toolbar and click on css and click show css style information then click on the image you want to change and it will show the ID or CLASS you need w/ the appropriate graphic
