    my images are not lining up in the computer monitor, there is black all around it, even in my quickstart demo install, how do i fix this

    i have downloaded the package and installed it on my computer, i did not see the issue as you said, pls try to download and re-install again

    that is not an exceptable answer and a blow off

    I am not using the quick start as this is an established site that i am refacing

    how do i line up the images
    how do i get rid of the black box behind it

    if you and i are having same problem, so that i can give you the solution. but my test site is working well, your site did not work: so i need to have a closer look on the issue, if possible pls post the link to your site in here. before do this, pls get source code from this file http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_halite/templates/ja_halite/css/ja.slideshow2.css and update for your file .

    i changed the main item height to 375 and the image is not centered, but the height of the area is too high and there is still a black background

    Im sad to see you didnt had this fixed yet, i had a look on your site and are not able to see it 123.
    I wouldnt mind having a further look but i would need ftp access, i dont know if thats possible?

    Hi mj,

    i have changed your module advanced parameters to resize from crop and now everything’s OK.

    you can put back the normal image mask now.
