    Hello,

    I was following this instructions to translate some bits into my language:
    <blockquote>Hi,
    – You change this code from languageen-GBen-GB.mod_janewspro.ini in the line #148
    Code:

    MORE=”More:”

    – Clean cache </blockquote>

    And then the image of the featured articles stopped showing.

    I use J1.6, what should I do?

    Kind regards,
    Miguel

    Have you kept the qutes (“) when translating? I.e.
    MORE=”Read:”

    Yes I did keep it

    Ok, check that the language file has encoding “UTF-8 without BOM”.
    You can check it with Notepad++ or similar software. If it’s not, convert to that encoding (note that you can loose your translations, keep a back-up).

    The encoding is “utf 8”, it doesn’t give me the option of converting it to “utf 8 without BOM”, could that be a problem?

    Haven’t tested by Joomla docs says
    Important note: Joomla language INI files must be saved as UTF-8 without the Byte Order Mark (BOM)

    I have now changed this, but it still doesn’t show the image.

    It appears to be solved now, for some reasson the images came offline at the same time as I was updating the language file and i thought it might had something to do…

    Anyway I just uploaded the pictures again.
