This is a bug…and is being reported.

The problem is Teline-III will not correctly create a thumbnail image of a main image that is pulled in externally.

To get around this, simply save the image locally and upload it into the Joomla image directory of your choice. Once the image is being housed locally – all of thumbnail, highslide-type functions will work.

Hi,
There is any news for this issue?
Has Teline III will create thumbnail from external domain?

So what is the best solution if we want to put all our data under images/… in another domain?
Coz this is good to speed up the performance too.
Any advice for this JA?

I haven’t heard directly yet…but I would bet the thumbnail creation will not be extended to external images for a number of reasons. Speed, lack of security, etc.

I would plan on having all my images housed locally.
