is there a way to set the cursor postion in artiles and modules to “absolute left” so that when i insert and image it is flush with the left side of the template –
i i guess in general the question would be is there a way to remove left, right, top and bottom padding from articles and modules?

September 27, 2010 at 5:58 pm #356835Not as easy as it sounds. First thing to do is look in the code of the editor and see if anything is being added. If you want it right up to the edge in a particular module then you will have to create a custom module for that. Most modules are designed to have some padding for the text or images. In articles you would have to edit the templates css but it would affect not just the images but the text too. Please provide a little more information and a link to your site detailing exactly where you want this padding removed from.
September 27, 2010 at 6:04 pm #356838i would like it removed from ALL articles. I could probably get by with custom modules. i tried making one, but it still adds the padding. any idea how to remove the padding from a module?
thanks!

Again, without a link to your site it is hard to say. Your best bet is to use a tool such as firebug for firefox. You can highlight any element from a live webpage then see and edit any css live on that page. Give it a go and tell us how you get on.
