Nobody knows how the resize functionality can be manipulated or disabled in JA Tube?

Just found the reason and solution here -> http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/remove-frontpage-resize/

But really – I seriously believe this kind of functionality does not belong in ja_templatetools_1.5.php, hidden as hardcoded php. Why not make a plugin for this? That way normal non-coders could find and change it, if they need to!
