Hi,
This is my second post. My first was to express my difficulty in searching the forums, so please forgive me if this question has already been asked/answered – I have searched but couldn’t find it mentioned anywhere.
I’ve just been playing around with Teline II Quickstart and I’m a bit frustrated with the different image shapes and sizes and resizing options.
Basically, it seems that in order to appear in the attractive way that they do in the the Quickstart, the images must be different shapes, i.e.:
JA News Frontpage Module: landscape
JA News Module: square
JA Category Spotlight Module: portrait
The problem is that when an article is moved from one module to another the results can be unexpected and often disastrous – the main object of a photo being cropped out if the image is automatically resized or the image not filling the Module (in the case of Category Spotlight) in which case there is a gap between the text layer and the image.
It seems the image file itself would have to be edited and resized but if the article is copied to another category in order, say to post it in ‘Hot Topics’, what then?
Can anybody offer some advice on a strategy to deal with this, please?
Thanks,
Alf
