    Hi

    The images in the articles on my site have a lot of white between them. The JA Nickel user guide says:

    My images take a lot of white space and do not look good?
    A: The {mosimage} may show some extra padding and margin. To solve this problem, go to your Joomla! Administrator -> Mambots -> Site Mambots and change the margin and padding parameters of MOS Image mambot to 0.

    But I can’t find this menu, I checked the plugins area but there is nothing to do with images in there.

    Can you help?
    Helen

    Hi Helen,

    Couple of places to adjust the areas surrounding images. Since you didn’t provide your URL, I’m working off the Nickle Demo.

    In Template CSS Line 207 You’ll find the default settings. Adjusting the margins may be all you need to do.

    article-content img {
    border:1px solid #DDDDDD;
    margin-right:10px;
    margin-top:5px;
    padding:3px;

    Also in css3.css (line 7) or what other style you are using…you’ll find additional adjustments

    #ja-current-content, .form-button, .form-button-alt, input.input-text, select, textarea, #mod_search_searchword, .error-msg, .success-msg, .notice-msg, .note-msg, .ja-tab-panels-top, #ja-slideshow .maskDesc .ja-slide-desc, .ja-slide-thumbs-handles span.active, .ja-slide-buttons, .ja-slide-thumbs .active span, .ja-slide-thumbs-handles span.active, #ja-mainnav .main, .article-content img, div.ja-innerdiv img, a.readon, #ja-login, #ja-register {
    -moz-border-radius-bottomleft:3px;
    -moz-border-radius-bottomright:3px;
    -moz-border-radius-topleft:3px;
    -moz-border-radius-topright:3px;

    Have fun.
    John.

    Hi John,

    Thanks for that, I played around with those settings and could see where the changes take effect, however it isn’t solving my problem. I place a picture in the content box of an article with the text aligned left, then when I put the next picture in which I want to show directly underneath the first one, I have to hit enter a few times to line up the picture. I’m wonering if this is what is causing the white space, but if I change it, it messes the text up or puts the second picture halfway across the page.

    Has anyone got any ideas how to fixthis?

    My site is http://www.mostunusual.co.uk

    Thanks
    Helen
