I am experiencing an issue where the images appear, and then disappear. For some reason the url of the image is changing.

If I go to this page:
    http://hamlethub.com/ridgefield-entertainment/cat/fundraisers/26890-chefs-battle-to-benefit-founders-hall
I see the images (three chefs and valentines ad on right column).
I refresh the page, they go away.
I clear the cache through admin, the appear again
    I refresh, they go away.

I did some experimenting – the issue is the image URL. Can you tell me how this is generated?

For example, when I see the image, and it appears correctly, the image URL is
    http://hamlethub.com/images/resized/images/battle_of_chefs_copy_300_185.jpg

When I do not see the image, the url is incorrect, and is:
    http://hamlethub.com/ridgefield-entertainment/cat/fundraisers/images/resized/images/battle_of_chefs_copy_300_185.jpg

Same for the Valentines ad it goes from:
    http://hamlethub.com/images/seasons/valentines/Valentines-HamletHub.png
    incorrectly to
    http://hamlethub.com/ridgefield-entertainment/cat/fundraisers/images/seasons/valentines/Valentines-HamletHub.png

How does this url get generated? Is it a glitch with SEF urls?

    Thanks

    Hi hamlethub,

    You may try this.
    1. Open the module. Under Adavnced Options, and set Caching to No caching.
    2. Please use absolute link http://hamlethub.com/images/resized/images/battle_of_chefs_copy_300_185.jpg
    or /images/resized/images/battle_of_chefs_copy_300_185.jpg.

Please give a try and tell me the result.
If you still see the problem, please pm ftp/admin account for me to check.

    Thank you for your reply.

The only image in a module is a “Custom HTML” module, with the following the only code in the box:
    <p><a target=”_blank” href=”http://hamlethub.com/valentines”><img src=”images/seasons/valentines/Valentines-HamletHub.png” alt=”Hamlethub Valentine’s Day” height=”150″ width=”300″ /></a></p>

The other images are part of the article. I only have the normal JA TelineIV plugins to display the images as part of that article.

As you can see, it somehow adds the menu alias to the url, so instead of hamlethub.com, it is hamlethub.com/ridgefield-entertainment/cat/fundraisers.

Why would it add the menu alias to the url, but only after refreshing the page?

The caching is turned off for the module.

How do I give you access? I do not want to make it public.

    figured it out.

If you change the order of the SEF plugin to 1, it goes away. I found it in a Joomla forum.

    Thanks!

    Ken
