    I am having a strange error…

If I click the same link twice ( menu item, or link within an article) the images on the page I am viewing disappear. In their place, I can see the alt text.

The error appears in both Firefox and Chrome. Have not tested in IE.

    site URL: http:www.niltuo.ca

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Im discovering that this error is related to the “Use SEF URLs” option in Global Configuration. If I turn off “Use SEF URL’s” the problem disappears – however many of my menu links also stop working because of 404 error messages.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the JA Droid template?

    Hello,

Are you using absolute paths to your images ? because what i can see is that the “/” slash is missing whenever i click refresh to a picture.
Also please let me know if you are using the latest version of JAT3 and that you have renamed htaccess.txt file to .htaccess

Hello pascm, thank you for your response. I am using relative paths to the images, I have now upgraded to the latest version of JAT3, and yes the file is named .htaccess.

I am still experiencing this issue however.

Yes pascm, problem solved! Thanks so much, I really appreciate the help.

Are you able to explain why I was having the issue? Maybe I can solve myself in the future. Again thanks!

    Hi Dave,
In some cases according to what modules are enabled to your server (mod_deflate, gzip etc) the cache function is causing problems. I have noticed even though i am not 100% sure so far that some server cache functions are causing trouble when you enable cache in Joomla.

In your case i had to disable gzip and that solved the problem.
