July 19, 2012 at 4:31 pm #179251Hello,
When images are pulled over they seem to load on top of themselves in a browser window.
See screenshot. Again in relation to my other post could this be related to settings in the lazy load plugin.
Could you help me in resolving this issue – thank you.

July 19, 2012 at 6:39 pm #461520I have that same issue actually and is wondering if there is a fix, although mine is due to lazyload being disabled. If lazyload is working, it will put a empty placeholder in place of the image until it loads finish inside. That allows the images to maintain their own aspect while loading. However when lazyload is disabled, you get that effect which you have now.
But I guess your lazyload is enabled? And from what I can see… your articles are all external feeds. So I guess the question should be whether external images from external feeds are processed by lazyload. From the looks of it, it’s not being processed. But in theory, it should. Since lazyload covers the entire site.

Yes exactly – so we need to know exactly how to handle lazyload and the external feeds. Some pages load fine it is just other pages that have issues.
If support could help us when they have time we could possibly diagnose this and maybe add some features that would benefit this excellent plugin.

Yes, you two are right.
The lazyload should not applied to the external image because of performance issue. This is a trade off anyway. 🙂

Hello,
1. Could there be a way for the administrator to edit images form the front end – due to images that come over from external links that either are unable to be displayed or contain material that would be inappropriate for that certain category. When the admin mouses over the image a delete or remove button could be in place.
2. Also is there a plugin that will allow for social buttons to be displayed on the pop up when viewing the images? Such as a Twitter or Pinterest, Facebook, etc. buttons that the end user could post to their pages.
If you make one I will pay for it as I feel this is advantageous to making a site viral.
Thanks again for your response – have a good day.

=> Just login in fontend with you admin account. You will see an edit button.<blockquote>2. => We have a small plugin that enable you view the item detail in popup, but it will not allow you move to next or previous item. This is the limited. You have to do customize to make it work. And Joomlart does not do custom work. Feel free to post to http://www.joomlancers.com/ with a reasonable price.

Thanks I will give that a try – will it appear on the image popup windows though? I’ll try it over the weekend. Appreciate the reply.
Are any of you talented people going to maybe one day code something as special as this into the pop ups? That would be great! 🙂
