    So I tried to install Joomla 3.0 of the University template, so after unpacking and moving files via ftp to the folder, I tried to install, then first it said, I need to have php 5.3 and up installed, so I asked my host to upgrade of which they did.
    Secondly, I encountered the next problem which was that I had to turn “magic_quotes_gpc=off”, and I got help online from others using the following code;
    Create php.ini file with the following lines.

    magic_quotes_gpc = Off
    session.save_path = “/tmp”

    I also added the following below in the .htaccess file
    SuPHP_ConfigPath /home/cpanelloginname/public_html/php.ini

    So the installation started and it was great; I used the sample data for the university, and after installation and checking the site out. Every image is missing on the template and all that it shows at the image holder is the dimension of the image ‘960 x 400’ and every other image has the dimension.
    So how do I resolve the image issue in the sample data installed for the University template

    Hi

    For the quickstart package there are no images available – all the images inside it are sample images not the images shown on the website Demo
    This is for copyrighted images – you need to upload and overwrite the sample images with your own images —

    So you want to tell me that this is how the sample data should look after installation?

    I thought sample data come with the demo images as seen in the demo site, then I have to edit and replace if I choose. So verify the link and let me know if this is how it should look, and that I haven’t miss anything

    Yes it’s correct they should appear in this way

    You can upload your own images and overwrite that ones
