    i have updated a website with the anion template but now all the images are right next to the text and it does not look good – i have installed the quickstart on my local pc and tried to compare the difference. I found that when you put the image class list to “caption” – it automatically do the nice border. I would like to know if there is a setting where you can set this as default as i would not like to go through the whole site to try and change all the pics so that it looks good.

    also it’s a bit of a cramp to have to do this from now on when you would like to add a pic in your content.

    Help would be greatly appreciated!

    Can you try to disable optimize css in template parameters ?

    I assume that specific class should adapt in automatically with images in this layout 🙂

    thanks for the reply – i have set the optimze css to no – but it does not seem the have any effect. I have set the blog layout intro, columns ect. to the anion quick start settings – it sorted the layout better. I have also use the ja thumbnail plugin the set the images to the same dimensions as the quick start. But the border is still the problem for me. If you go to news – schools, you can see that i have set the first article the class list to caption – then i have the border as in the quick start. Now this is what i mean, is there a way to set this to all images without having to go through all the articles to set the caption class list so that hte images looks good and not pushed again the copy?

    thanks

    i have added

    img {
    margin-right: 20px;
    }

    to my template.css and that seem to have sorted the problem for me. Thanks for the help anyway.

    nope,

    just realised that that stuff up the rest of the template – so that quick fix is not working as expected…so please if you have an idea for me.

    maybe if you could set the margin in the css file only for images in the articles and not modules ect. that would solve the problem – but i do not know where to do this.

    i even tried to look at the css file of the ja-thumbnail and tried a few things, but are unable to get it working due to my lack of coding knoledge

    i am still have trouble with this and really need some help. I have played around and found that the frontpage does make ‘n nice border around the images without having to ad the caption on the image. I have tried to have a look on the htmlcom_contentfrontpage files so see if i can not copy this to the category layout and thus solve the problem – but i am no code man – so i need the clever developers to tell me what code i can copy from the frontpage layout to the category and section layout to get this nice borders….please help
