I do not quite understand how to organise my pictures. I have tried to make a new folder /stories/Personer and uploaded pictures with different sizes (from 150 – 950 k).

When I insert a picture with {mosimage} and select the picture from the MOSimage control panel I get the following error message at the front end, over the published article:

Warning: imagejpeg() [function.imagejpeg]: Unable to open ‘/home1/euleksik/public_html/Teline3EU/images/resized//images/stories/personer/schuman_200_132.jpg’ for writing: No such file or directory in /home1/euleksik/public_html/Teline3EU/modules/ja_news/helper.php on line 123

It seem that the picture have not been resized, as there is no pictures in the /resized/images/stories/Personer – folder

Obviously, I have missed something here, but what?

My basic question here might be rephrased as follows: What happens with pictures that are ‘too big’? Should pictures be uploaded with a certain size or does the resizing do the trick anyway. And what is the difference between the MOSimage control and the pop up insert/edit picture manager in the toolbar? I am running Teline II – Joomla 1.0.
