Hello guys,
here you can see my site: http://www.yoopress.com
How can I make it like in the demo, that the images in the several categories are not so big like in JA News FP?
In the demo the image in the featured article is bigger. So it is on my site. But if you find the same article in one of the categories/sections the image in the article preview (demo) is smaller. On my site the images stay big. How can i change this?Thanks!

June 15, 2008 at 11:43 am #253667Hello,
The size of images you can set-up from mod_janews_fp and mod_janews.
Just open those two modules and look for “Width” and “Height” so play a bit with those sizes and you will find out how to setup those sizes for your needs.

Sure. This are the settings I know. But what’s with the imagesize in the categories. I Mean when you click on one of the categories in th emain menu. Like here
You can see that the image of “Historische Weichenstellung des Brunello Consortio für die Zukunft. ” is bigger than the others. os there a way to make it smaller in the preview. In the demo the images are all in one size. Also those which are shown in JA News FP too…citron Friendcitron

June 15, 2008 at 4:31 pm #253710Also there is option: Auto resize Yes/No – all your images will be autoresize Width” and “Height”
Actualy you are correct. The pictures in to the Catergories are resized but they dont follow the instructions from Auto resize options. So probably is some bug.

Hi nguoiabcd,
As suggested by the other poster, would you be kind enough to share the solution in public?
For better archival, I am creating a summary of solved postings so that it is easy for customers to locate them.. It beats scrolling scrolling through the Forum sections everytime we want to find if our question has been answered before. Sometimes the search option does not get all of them.
Can you please add the link to this post in the appropriate thread:

http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/links-to-solved-problems-known-bugs-of-joomla-1-0x-ja-teline-ii/Since some threads could be very long, can you please provide the following:
1. Original post heading:
2. Link
3. Your name (username)
4. Summary:
a. Brief description of the problem or question and desired goal
b. Proposed solution to the problem that worked
c. Please provide an image capture of the before and after, if possible.Without any Manual, How To’s or FAQ, the database of these solved problems may go a long way to help each other.
Thanks,
Cornelio

So, why was this thread marked SOLVED?
Why don’t you ever post publicly if you were able to solve any of the problems you were ever able to solved? Except for a few posting, you always ask customers who post in public to PM you.
I am not being personal here, but I am really concerned with t your practice to deal almost everything in private. If customers prefer that, then they would have corresponded with you accordingly..
Just to let you know, I consider this behavior (not responding in public) as a questionable practice:
Really concerned about this: Should a Moderator keep answers private?
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=14183I did not name you personally there but I have seen so many of your post, requiring a PM, immediately. It is not so bad if you share what you found out, but I have never encountered you sharing the results of your findings in public, so that everyone will benefit.

June 20, 2008 at 4:34 am #254829Hi nguoiabcd,
You responded in #9
@nguoiabcd 59662 wrote:
This problem have solved via Pm

A customer responded that you share your findings:
@citron 59712 wrote:
Please, can you share with us? Thank you in advance.

And, since I am trying to organize all the solved threads here that will be in manner useful to every customer, I echoed the request of citron (read my request above).
Thus, I was surprised when you responded to me and contradicted your response in #9 that it was not solved:
@nguoiabcd 60518 wrote:
Hi.

Regards
And to make matters worse, not only did you not want to share whatever finding you have on this matter, but you countered:
@nguoiabcd 60519 wrote:
If you have any solved thread about Teline 2, you can post HERE.

Is there anything in my request that is against Joomlart policy?
Cornelio
