Every time I change or make a new article in Teline III it results in an image text offset.
Pic one shows a default article and picture two shows the article after open>change>save

I´ve tried just about everything to avoid the offset without luck. Tiny, no tiny, clean text etc. I use a mac.
Any help on this issue would be fantastic!
    Thanks from Norway.

Check the HTML code of the article which is being generated after save. See what values <img > tag has; you can post it hear.

Apparently, if you use JCE editor, it has a setting for images. Check JCE Administration -> Groups -> Default (if you haven’t your group) – > Plugin Parameters tab -> and see Defaults of Image Manager (it has default margins set).

The codes look similar to each others.
I use Tiny MCE for editing. If I open an article and just change a detail in the body text and saving it afterwards, the same issue appears when I preview it.

You will almost certainly find tiny is adding a <p></p> tag to your articles on saving. Please post a link to and affected page so we can take a look.

You´re right! It adds a <p> tag around the image. How can I avoid this? By using a different editor?

    Thanks

As suspected the editor is adding a <p></p> tag to your code.

    <p><div class="img_caption left" style="float: left; width: 200px;"><img border="0" align="left" title="Sample image" alt="Sample image" src="/images/resized/images/stories/demo/artist/3d-8_200_200.jpg" class="caption"><p class="img_caption">Sample image</p></div></p>

Tiny has a habit of doing odd things.

Try the following fron the Joomla admin panel

    1) Extensions Menu option
    2) Plugin Manager option
    3) From the plugin list find the plugin named ‘Editor – TinyMCE 2.0’
    4) In the Plugin configuration find the New Lines parameter setting and
    select BR Elements
    5) Make sure Functionality is set to Extended

Apply your changes and that should improve things. You will have to remove the existing p tags in articles you have alreadye edited manually using the html button in the editor.

    Or use JCE.

Fantastic! Downloaded JCE. It made me able to remove the <P> tag.

    Thanks a lot!!!

JCE solved it but thanks a lot for your effort and the additional tip.
