If I understand correctly you want to change the background image that comes with the site.

The most simple way to do this is to find the current background images (one top and one bottom) in the template images folder and then use them as a guide for creating your new background graphics. If you don’t want to make it too difficult then just make sure that your new image fades or incorporates with the current background color for the site.

Then you just switch the images out with your new ones and refresh.
