I have seen a previous thread but nothing was sorted so I thought it best to start another one.

Disqus exports a tar.gz file, I unzipped it and saved as an xml and tried to import but keep getting an error.
The structure seems to be different to the one suggested in the other thread so I’m attaching the output here. I’ve ziped it again as I can only upload a zip file.

It would be nice to see the previous comments but I’m going to go live without them anyway.

Hi,

Your export file is new Disqus export format, please give it a try using the old format ( select XML: Old-style, deprecated ) to export comments.

If you still fail, feel free to get back to us for further inspection.

It seems that disqus no longer let you export in the old format. I have tried 7 times but never receive an email. If I try the new format an email arrives within minutes.

Is it a lot of work to include the new format xml files?

Hi,

I’ve reported this problem as an issue for JA Comment project via http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JAECCOMCOMMENTJVI-210 as we need sometimes to improve JA Comment code to import Disqus comment in new format.

Keep an eye on that issue as it will be updated the progress.
