November 15, 2011 at 4:41 pm #170724I posted a similar question a while back and got so frustrated not being able to resolve it that i gave up with the job board. However, i really do need to get this working properly. Can someone (who has successfully managed to achieve this) Tell us how they did it? Maybe even post the code that needs to go in to the xml file?
This would be really appreciated

January 13, 2012 at 8:22 am #433710Hi,
many thanks. I have just downloaded latest version (quickstart) can I just upload this file and overwrite current one on Joomla?. Also, with the quickstart, do I need to also upload the add-ons or does it do this automatically?Kind regards

January 20, 2012 at 6:01 pm #434666Hi,
I have now updated to the latest version of Jobs Board – the JAExtension manager is brilliant – made it so simple – thanks.
I am still trying to get the import jobs setup (Googlebase , indeed etc.) I can see that these are already in there, but when I run them I get a message saying no jobs imported. am not sure what I need to do here.
When I run the Indeed ‘import jobs’ I get the following error message:“Warning: mysql_real_escape_string() [function.mysql-real-escape-string]: A link to the server could not be established in /home/sites/mysite.com/public_html/administrator/components/com_jajobboard/asset/XMLImportHelper.php on line 1477”
When i run the Google and Yahoo I get the following:
“Imported Logs on Jan 20, 2012 17:59 by Admin: There was no imported job”
The last ones are obviously close to working, but not sure what else I need to add to get them to return jobs
