As of today, Aug 08, 2008, I would like to make an official announcement of the some important changes in the JA Templates Club

I. Number of templates released per month

From August of 2009 – JoomlArt will release 1 template per month.

Reasons:

1. This has been suggested by many of our members
2. By August, 2009 we will have 84 templates (59 current + 25 coming). The maintenance of such a huge number of templates will become the priority in JA templates works.
3. Joomla can reach important milestones in the 2009. We can expect to see Joomla 1.7, Joomla 1.8 or even Joomla 2.0. What if Joomla 2.0 changes their core template frame works. and we need to get prepared for the upgrading of 84 the templates
4. 84 is a good number when we talk about the variety and wide templates selection for any member. Everyone can find a template of his tastes among that 84 templates.
5. One template a month will help us to spend more brain and creation on design as well as increase the variations of a design.
6. – We can come back to old template and give them a new life like we have done with JA Teline and JA Teline II

II. Licenses & Domains management.

These licenses system as well as template version management are not currently inline with the way we deliver our templates and do not allow us to provide the same high level of service to our customers. With the current licensed domain management customers find hard to add, edit or change the license for their domains.

From September 2008 (or earlier), a new license & domain management system will be introduced. You will not have to add domains to the license system.It will automatically be registered once you install the template.

III. Impacts of changes to current members.
Such changes will have no impact or will not create any unfavourable situation for current members. You will still get all good quality templates that we had promised or advertised when you signed up.

As JoomlArt continues to grow, we will try to hire more developers, designers in the coming months to further improve our templates and extensions. Support will also be extended to ultimately help our members. When you decide to choose us, we want to make sure that you will not only get the best Joomla design on the Net but also receive our Getting Better All The Time services.

Although these changes are all favourable changes, we are aware that not all our members will be notified about the changes and we apologize for the lack of notice.
