Hi, I have a big problem that I didn’t expected and critical for our project !!

To import job data by xml file, I’m trying to declare the xml source and the component don’t recognize the xml file..
In fact, when I declare a new xml feed, I choose the xml file on the xml sample feed and the fetch from url (pointing to the xml file on the ftp). But when saving, an error occurs : “file not saved”….

I have to say first of all that I find your wiki very light on this subject, which is very important…

You can see the xml file that I prepared from your sample after viewing your wiki..
Can you help me to setup the import data function on my website by building the proper xml structure?
In the actual xml file, you will see all the fields existing on my spreadsheet data file.
I will manage to map fields after that but it is impossible to get it work for now because it not recognize the actual xml file…

Dear Bestshore3,

Do you check the file which gives the permission to upload in the global configuration? You must upload file essai_import.xml in the XML Sample File and fill feed url in Feed pickup-method

Hi Her0,

What do you mean about the file which give the permission to upload?
I tried to add xml ponctualy on the file extensions on the Global Settings/System Config : the extension xml is not allowed and change has not been saved.
Can you precise that point?
I already upload the file in the xml samle file and fill the feed url in Feed pickup-method.

Please give me a support on this issue, it can ruin the entire project and months of dev.
I didn’t expected having this kind of problem :-//
