I want to import jobs from Monster. Can I get some help with this problem.

Hi Barbara,

I have just checked your site, it uses PHP version 5.4.26. The current version of JA Jobboard does not work well with this version of PHP so you can face some unexpected errors.

So I have updated .htaccess file to let it use PHP 5.3 instead.

Regarding the Import job issue, job is not imported because you have not selected Employer for imported jobs. You can found this setting in “Step 3. Map fields” when configuring XML Feed.

I have updated this setting and jobs are imported now.

FYI: We are developing a new update of JA Jobboard to get it work properly in PHP 5.4.

The new version will be released within next weeks. You can wait until then to update.

Hi Barbara,

JA Jobboard component does not provide a feature to import Jobseeker account from Feed, but from Joomla User instead.
So you can use 3rd extension to import your customer as Joomla user first, then upgrade them as Job Seeker.
You can find such extensions in Joomla Extension Directory:
