Hi everybody,
I’m using Joomla 2.5 and unfortunately I can’t change the favicon of my site.
– I’ve already uploaded the new favicon.ico in the folder as follows: /domains/mysite/public_html/templates/ja_tiris
– I’ve already deleted cache a lot of time (from IE, Joomla and JaT3) but nothing has changed
I’ve found the favicon in /domains/mysite/public_html/plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/images as well and I’ve tried to put the new favicon also there but nothing happens.
So now what should I do??

I’ve tried to turn off the pc and then when I turned on everything was ok…I’ve lost a lot of hours for a funny problem :-[

Yes, I think it might be the cache of browser, it will take time for browser to update website favicon.

• Changing the favicon in
  domains/mysite/public_html/plugins/system/jat3/jat3/base-themes/default/images
• cleaning the JAT3 cache in the administrator backend
• cleaning the browser cache

did it for me.

Maybe try different browsers (Safari, chrome, firefox, Opera,…)
Each browser has its own cache.
