We have tried on our end, but haven’t seen any problem as you said. Did you try to change any other value in module, did the value save ?

You can try this solution: checked your server configuration (Site back-end >> Menu System >> System Information >> Tab PHP Information) , if the "max_input_vars" setting is configured low. To resolve this issue, please contact with your hosting provider to help to increase a setting "max_input_vars" to a large number.
