Hello,

It would help make our way around, if there are simple things that could make it easier for visitors to fing their way around the Joomlart pages.

For example. it would be nice to have in the heading of each Template forum to include:

1. Demo Page link
2. Download link
3. History of Changelog and chronology of updates. I am not sure why, but, more often than not, I get a message that I cannot view the “Changelog”

and each of the pages for the above, must link back to each other. Right now, I am wasting time, locating the download link of a template, and have to visit often because I don’t know if there was a more recent update.

As important, considering that the issues involved in Joomla 1.5 and 1.6 — versions using the same template , especially with more complex templates, like those in the Teline series — it is critical to have separate forums (or the Joomla 1.6 could be a childboard, in each Template Forum thread). This format (i.e.g, inclusion of childboards) is standard in quite a number of sites, because such separation avoids confusion and minimize wasted time of visitors.

Hi Cornelio,

The above is very contributive ideas. I have created a issue for queuing & further following this request: http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JOOMLART-120 at our project management system.

As it is a feature/improment request, it may take more time for us in the mid of current high load of Joomla 1.6 upgrade. However, it has been queued and seriously evaluated. Please create an account at the bug system & subscrible to the project so that you can be notified when it has any update

I should be able to see the resolution when I see it working in the Joomlart page. I requesed this before, and in the old layout, there used to be tenokate Forums, but not all, where some of the features have been implemented.

Never the updates of the changelogs though. Unfoortunately, I get the message that I do not have sufficient permissions to view the changelog as provied in the download page for the template. As a result, most of my downoads, mainly Teline series, totaled several hundreds now. Just for Teline IV, both the Joomla 1.5 and 1.6, I have made several dozen downloads just the past month. These would not have been neccessary if the changelogs have been readily available.

One silver lining is that at least Hung now includes the most recent dates of the files in the download page.
