March 13, 2007 at 7:03 pm #215671Hi Gordana
Being a ‘noob’ is fun isn’t it 🙂 we all been there
I hate to think of some of the ‘so basic’ stuff I used to ask, so don’t be shyNow to clarify, when you say .swf in the header, do you mean have the existing imges in header display as flash instead of jpgs that are animated?
The header module can do both.
Or do you mean you have some different images you have made into a flash animation you wish to use?
For now, I’ll asume you wish the header module to show the images as a flash based show
Go to the header module setup section via the admin backend, when you have that page up, simply change the type of slideshow from what you have now to ‘flash’ save and it will output as swf type.
Now as for placing swf files into the side panels (where you have already a spinning text ?)
you have already put swf files into those sections? I’m not understanding your need fully I think?
Can you define what swf files you need to put thereMarch 14, 2007 at 8:30 am #215743Hello Shanon,
YES IT IS.
So many new things, and I must admit that JoomlArt has been of great Help.
This is the First time ever that I have anything to do with Joomla and Templates and … well anything connected to that.
I have tryed out tens of free templates and only got a headacke from them.
But with Xenia everyhting works good, I only needed to figure out how to make it work.
And that’s where the Forums came in very Helpfull.– back to the problem –
I need to put the completely new flash file that I’ve made.
I don’t want pictures rotating in the Head via Flash, I need to post my own Flash files in that position. Also the side – black ones – rotating text – are animated gifs and I really need to use the flash in those places also.

I have downloaded the flash module You have suggested and it works Ok.
But now I have Hit another problem 🙁
If You look closely now at the right side I have the “frame” arround the flash file.
I would really like to remove this frame if possible at all.
I have not find the option in the module menu – module class suffix ???Also If You look at them a bit more, they are all alligned to the left, and I would like them to be alligned to the centre.
Please Help

Mate I tried to access the site to look but I keep getting a “server not found error”
looks like your host is down? The frame around the module may be the option to publish in “iframe’ ? as an option n means a frame off means no frame
if I remember right? Until I see teh site again when it/the server comes back online I wont know
