Kindly follow the above documentation to add the Google font on site .
once u added the font then add below code in custom.css file

body {
    font-family: "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif!impportant; }

Change the font family with your embedded font family .

So you can’t use the ThemeMagic to change the font? Is it a good idea to overwrite core template files? Won’t these be overwritten with an update from the template?

I would expect that if I add a font to the Assets.xml, that I would be able to use it in the options in ThemeMagic.

In the previous version of T3 we could actually select a google web font from a pull-down. I regret this option is no longer there.

Hi
You can add the type the font manually , but to apply the font on whole site , use the custom.css file method .
It also work same to apply the font default mainbody .
