October 26, 2012 at 11:03 pm #181737I remember that a couple of years ago, when I first used JA Purity, I uploaded a couple of images to folder templates/ja_purity/images/header and they were displayed randomly, on page load.
Now I tried the same approach to JA Purity II but it is not working. I uploaded a couple of images to the templates/ja_purity_ii/images/header but they are not been displayed, only header[1-3].jpg are displaying.
What should I be doing wrongly?
I deleted the header[1-3].jpg files and they stopped displayed, so I concluded that I uploaded the new images to the right folder.
Tks

Hello hbf1000,It’s cache problem. Please disable cache in Template Manager of JA Purity II

November 9, 2012 at 8:34 am #472384I mean you must disable cache in Template Manager of JA Purity II template settings. Not clean browser cache.
Regards.

December 8, 2012 at 2:51 am #475491Hello hbf1000,
I checked and saw that your cache is still enabled. As I told you above, you should disable the site cache so that image banner can run well.
I disabled it for you and problem was resolved. Please check and confirm the same.
Regards

December 10, 2012 at 4:32 pm #475738For me here I still see ONLY the default pictures and also, instead of my logo, I see the Joomla black logo. 🙁

Hello hbf1000,I checked many times but didn’t see any problems as you reported. Would you mind sending me a few screenshots for more clarifications?

December 11, 2012 at 12:47 pm #475852Hello, as you can see from the picture, no pictures load. I deleted the 3 original pictures and included others.

Hello hbf1000,If you wanna use your own images, you need to name them as “header[1-3].jpg”. Don’t use your own names.

December 12, 2012 at 11:18 am #475986I renamed as you pointed out, and it is working now.
But I need to mention that this is a serious step back considering how it worked on Purity I, where I just need to upload the pictures inside the folder, using whatever name I wanted and how many pictures as I wanted and they would load randomly.
I would ask to report this to developers in order for this to be fixed. I have been using Joomlart templates since 2008 where you guys won the Joomla contest. Since that time the service has been improving a lot and this step back is non sense.
Tks for the support.

December 17, 2012 at 11:11 am #476514Hello hbf1000,
It’s workflow of JA Purity II to use with T3 Framework. However, your idea is so interesting and it will be recorded to our checklist for further reference.
Let me know if you need any other assistance.
Regards.
