(This isn’t necessarily specific to Purity, but the forum won’t acknowledge I’m logged in to the General forum).
Through my own stupidity I’ve managed to confuse my Joomla installation as to which version of Purity III I am running. I installed my site using Version 1.1.6, and subsequent to that Version 1.1.7 was released. Unfamiliar with how to operate the JA Extension Manager properly and of course unable to update through the default extension manager I simply went for broke, did it all by hand and FTPed the template files to the server, overwriting the older ones.
Now in a sense that worked. Extensions > Templates reports that I’ve got 1.1.7 installed. Templates > Edit Style confirms and congratulates me on running the latest 1.1.7 version, JA Extension manager is happy that I’m on 1.1.7 but the standard Extension Manager doesn’t, it is still convinced I am on 1.1.6 and every time I log in pops up a banner to advise me that there is an update available to 1.1.7.
Clearly there is some flag somewhere in the configs or database with the incorrect version number but I’m damned if I can track it down. I’m happy and confident using MySQL to edit the database by hand if needed, but can anyone clue me in as to where this detail might be stored so I can correct the results of my manual intervention?
