Hi there,

it is from december 2014 that my customer site is on line.
From then his web site is not indexed in google.
Today when my customer makes a search on google, his web site doesnt exist…
I was thinking it was a: “NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW” problem, but my surprise is that in the backend on settings on the Global Configuration there is on “Index, Follow”…
So, plase can any one help with this?

Thanks a lot 🙂

Hi there,

Thansk again for your help.

One more thing:
The site is not appearing in google, but if i go to yahoo.com or bing.com the site appears but showing this like descripction:

“Responsive Joomla template for decor, interior design and corporate portfolio for Joomla 2.5 & Joomla 3 – JA Decor. Support Bootstrap 3, featuring EasyBlog component …”

How can I change that description?
I added some descriptions on the backend, but why it is showing this?

I imagine that google will index my site in some days?

Other thing: Do I need to erase the “robots.txt” file on the root?

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi there,

So I set all configuracion (menu, globals, articles, etc) to: Index, Follow

The text I said is located here:

Extensions > Template manager > Templates > Ja_decor Details and Files > Template description

Is there a way to change this?
If dont, why google takes this text and no description of my web?

Thanks a lot 🙂

Hi I have not found the

”Responsive Joomla template for decor, interior design and corporate portfolio for Joomla 2.5 & Joomla 3 – JA Decor. Support Bootstrap 3, featuring EasyBlog component …”

In your site source code . Please check it again , For Google indexing please check your Google Webmaster or your SEO experts .
As you just changed the site SEO options , it will take some time to index by Google .

Hi, thanks for your help…

OK for the text.

But one thing: why you tell me to contact google webmaster?
Do you mean that what we have done wont work?
Please tell me if the changes we made are OK.
I know that it can take days, but most what I need to know is that the changes we made: index, follow, etc is OK.

Thanks for all

Yes it will work . What i mean to Google webmaster is as you are talking about Google SEO settings , these are handled by Google webmaster .
Add Your Own meta Data in the site menu , It will be used for your site index .
Here is Doc for Joomla search engine meta-data

Thanks a lot for your great help…

I know that I need to add description and meta data.

So if “Index, Follow” is ok, I think it works, because what is strange is that my customer makes a search of his domain name on google and it just doesnt exist… and the site was created in december 2014…
