I extracted the quickstart for Ja Portfolio into my domain. When I accessed the website, it did not prompt for an installation but rather, asked me to delete the installation folder. I deleted the installation folder. I tried to view the website again. This time I’m getting “Infinite loop detected in JError”. Please help. I don’t know what to do.

December 6, 2011 at 4:21 pm #428250Hi iette
Wich version of the template have you downloaded ? 1.5 or 1.7 ?
I’ll try to downlaod the quickstart package and start a new installation in my localhost
December 9, 2011 at 9:32 pm #429019Error in 1.7. I also downloaded and installed 1.5. Links for K2 will give an error message. The template is not working.

December 9, 2011 at 10:00 pm #429021Your error is not due to the Joomlart template but at the K2 component upgraded to the 2.4.1 version if you search for the error you will see that you haven’t a directive enabled on your apache web server, look here for an example of what i’m saying.
I have also replied at your ticket ID CTE-160-56133
Let me know what you decide about that
December 10, 2011 at 2:24 am #429035Thanks for the advise. I’ve checked with my service provider and everything’s okay. I even called them and have them check it for me while I’m on the phone. They said everything has been enabled and has updated php to the latest version. I’m new to joomla and have not tried any template before. This is the first joomla-based website. Your policy states 7-day return. I’m almost out of the 7-day return policy. I don’t want to risk and in the end I won’t be able to make the website running smoothly. I guess I have to read more about joomla before trying out templates. I see how beautiful your templates are, but if I won’t be able to use it smoothly on any of my websites, I think I won’t bother using available templates. I used to hire developers to create websites for me but the downside is, if there’s a problem and you won’t be able to contact them, it’s really hard to fix it. I decided to start creating my own but I guess I need to have more knowledge about joomla first. If I will be ready, joomlart would still be my first choice as recommended by my friends.
