    I want to put this module on my website.

    Module : Infobar
    Joomla 1.5.7

    As what i understand, i need to put some code to make new module position. So i try this on index.php


    <!-- BEGIN: register -->

    <div id="infobar">
    <jdoc:include type="modules" name="infobar" />
    </div>

    <!-- END: register -->

    but nothing happen. Can anybody help me.

    It is working kind of. Remember you can not see it if you are logged in.

    It stretches a little further than your content though…

    Or did you want it across the top like proper browser bar?

    To do that put the div in immediately after <body> in your index.php

    That would be the index.php in your template folder NOT the one in your main joomla directory

    Seem like i not enough reading. Got it !!.
    I also need to add position in templateDetails.xml file.

    And to play with positoning. I place it in just before

    <head>

    it give perfect position for this module. Thank .
    Any other easyway..

    Do not place it before <head> ! Place it after <body>
