I already paid for quickstart but since early July this month I could not have the quickstart installed. Any staff could fix it?

July 26, 2011 at 8:45 pm #403187If you have godaddy:
From File manager follow steps:
Step 1) Go to hosting control center and remove every file in filemanager
2) Create a new db in MySQL. If you already have one there create a new one with different name/decription (write down user, pass ect..)
3) Add domain (if you already havent) to point to your root folder
4)upload zipped quickstart then extract it
5) after new db is setup..go to www.(yoursite).com and the installation manager should be there
6) (make sure you use the new db you made) at the end it will tell you to go into filemanger and delete Installation folder.
7) make sure you delete the installation folder in Filemanager then the site should be up running.Phill ModeratorPhill

July 26, 2011 at 8:55 pm #403190When you say you paid for the quickstart did you pay the installation service (an extra $40 ontop of the standard membership) or did you just join the JA Template clube where the quickstarts are provided?
What problems are you encountering?
July 29, 2011 at 6:42 am #403549Yes, I paid $ 40 in addition to the membership.

July 29, 2011 at 12:40 pm #403600No response from whom? What exactly were the installation problems. You are not giving me much to go on.
If you drop me all your details via PM I will look at installing for you. I will need an FTP account and your mysql details. Please also include a link to this thread in your pm

August 20, 2011 at 7:41 pm #407337The point being TomC is that this user paid JA for an installation but for some reason unknown to us that did not happen. It may have been a hosting issue or one of any number of reasons such as the user not supplying the correct credentials to enable us to install. Until he gets back to us there is little more we can do to help.
