I am trying to install JA Sulfur in a subdirectory but the template doesn’t upload.
Instead of getting a error message the browser asks me to save index.php.

I disabled FTP during the Joomla installation. Is that a part of the problem? The hosting company
says nothing is wrong with write permissions.

I’m on a Ubuntu 9.04 machine.
