I purchased the JA Teline and installed the template on a web hosting server, that had an joomla 3rd party pre installation. So I just downloaded the JA Template and uploaded to the server, but the web site does not look like the template. Please advise how to get my site to look like what I purchased. I have contacted twice via email Joomlart, but I have gotten no response after purchasing $70.00.

I am having the same trouble…I am using Go Daddy and Joomla is already installed. I have attempted to follow the Quick Start guides but although the process seems to go well, when I attempt to view the site I receive errors. I believe that this is due to the pre-installed Joomla. My guess is that creating a new database is not the answer and that I should be using the existing database that was used for the original Joomla install. Unfortunately when Go Daddy setup Joomla they did not send me the database information.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I have the same problem. I’ve got everything working – about 95% of what I want is done – there are some css things are off – the fonts are wrong, and thetabs in each cat / section heading on the JA News page are the full column width, rather than the clean looking “tab’ feature that’s in the demo. If anyone know how I can clean that up it would be great!

Thought I would try to bring this thread back to the top – I am just starting out with Joomla and have been very impressed so far with the Teline template.
I am wondering how a complete novice can go about trying to change the quick-start template to look like the column format as displayed on the science news portal demo site
